Story
Paisa is a dark comedy thriller and Nani and Catherine Tresa played the lead roles. Charan Raj has come to big screen after a long gap. Each maker follows a style of narrating the story and it is to this style movie lovers get attracted to. Krishna Vamsi has a unique style of telling a story and he teamed with someone as talented as Nani for ‘Paisa’ and the movie had faced many hurdles before it came today for our judgment. Does it get a nod from movie lovers? Read on…
Plot
Prakash(Nani) is a local guy in old city who dreams of making bucks going to Dubai. He falls in love with Noor. Prakash interrupts Noor being forcibly married to an Arab shaik, and in this process he gets lot of money. Where did the money come and where will Prakash go forms the rest of the story!
Performances
Nani lives to the tag of the boy next door and he plays quintessential action hero in Paisa and scores good marks. He shoulders the entire movie from beginning through the end and forms its soul. His dialogue delivery to expressions put him a notch higher.
Catherine Teresa played the role of an introvert girl and one gets a feeling she is not the right person for the role. But one can hardly complain about her performance and she did very well.
Siddhika Sharma, is a newbie and she did okay. She adds the glamor quotient in the movie and the Miyya Miyya song could make many men’s hearts go weak for her toned legs and curvy pelvis.
Vetaran hero Charan Raj did a wonderful job and he had got an important role. Raja Ravindra,Duvvasi Mohan did justify their roles.
APG Analysis
Paisa movie deals how powerful money is and how it makes the entire world revolve around money. First things first this is not one movie that would appeal to all movie lovers. The director doesn’t get distracted from the story and the main plot and so an average movie lover might miss the commercial elements he regularly looks for in Paisa.
Story goes at a slow pace and Krishna Vamsi was disappointing. You will have to search for KV’s implicit sensibilities in Paisa. And a clever movie lover will be upset with so many loopholes in Paisa script.
The film can only be watched for Nani and Krishna Vamsi’s sake. Its BO result will depend on how audience at B and C centers will receive it.
